Architecture and the question of Technology

In the primary part of this book, "Engineering and the subject of Technology", we are presented with a perception of the idea of workmanship and innovation in time which at last are incorporated in connection to design. All through the main section of the book, there is communicated a feeling of the philosophical development of Phenomenology. Alberto Perez-Gomez, one of the writers of this book, is himself a compositional scholar who bolsters the previously mentioned rationality and figures out how to pass on it in his written work on workmanship and innovation. Toward the start of his contention, the creator intends to clear up the principle information second thoughts, which he should later clarify in detail, viewing the idea of innovation and in addition the all inclusiveness of instrumental reasoning. It is precisely this method of reasoning which has a tendency to for the most part misrepresent terms amid talks, along these lines lessening a mind boggling matter of iss

George Dodds

This rewiew was the was more clear according to the other readijg topics we had before. The creators begin their clarification expressing that: "The connection of the body to design and the perplexing wonder of corporeality have dependably included a special position inside the historical backdrop of European culture." This is genuine on the grounds that we have seen it ourselves that every one of our creators from Vitruvius period, who thinks about the human body straightforwardly to the body of a building, and on to different creators, all have something in like manner. – They have been centered around human body and its ideal proportions.– The most basic part of the part of the body in understanding the truth is the connection between the body and that which genuinely exists.Thereafter, the body is utilized to assign theoretical as well as material reality. On account of Plato we saw that he considered the body not as guaranteed or something that can be disconnected or c

Gulio Camillo

Giulio Camillo was a sixteenth-century Italian philosopher,is still remembered for his concept of the "Theater of Memory.". Camillo's Memory Theater is however a twisting of the arrangement of the genuine Vitruvian theater. His performance is based on the classical art of memory. In any case, his memory building is to speak to the request of interminable truth; in it the universe will be recollected through natural relationship of every one of its parts with their underlying order. The theatre resembles the ancient theatres. In ancient theatres the most sublime people sat in the lowest seat, also in this theatre the greatest and the most important things will be placed in the lowest row. The seven sections were divided according to the seven planets known at the time : The second grade of the performance center is extremely the principal day of creation, imaged as the dinner given by Ocean to the divine beings, the rising components of creation, here in their straigh

He wrote how a man can be in an universe in wich he can know himself(and opposite). He said that God saw everything in disorder, and desired that all should be like himself. He produced order out of disorder. That brought beauty in existence. So we shold copy what he has made in our lifes to change the disorder to order and the beauty is created. The Creator God takes the forms and fashion the universe but not the mankind, because his perfection causes him to stand apart from the created order. So he creates cosmos, and cosmos created the gods(Greek Pantheon),and the gods created mankind, animals are the lowest layer that are generated by mankind by reincarnation(a type of person ofter dies reincarnates onto a bird,

Daylight and colore

We learned about the impact of daylight in architecture and its importance in perceiving plasticity, textures, etc. There are different ways the daylight is used but we will talk about three main ones: 1- Bright open hall , It's a roof supported by columns and it is opened in the sides and the light in there differs from the light outside. A lot of light doesn't mean it is a good light(a front light is considered a "poor" light). Good quality of t extures and plasticity makes a good light . 2- The room with a skylight , is a room or a building with the daylight entering from the top.It is the only lighting source, and it satisfies the need of the room for light. It creates good textures and plasticity. We learned about  Partheon and the way it was build. 3- The room with the light entering from the side ,is the most used natural lighting, because it is a very good light . We learned how the light changed on the inside when only the two upper shutters were opened (same
